Chocolate Wars

Chocolate Wars

In class we had a debate about which chocolate is the best. Either Cadbury or Whittakers.
This is mine:
Cadbury or Whittaker's?
In the chocolate world a war has broke out. Whittaker's has taken on Cadbury. I prefer Whittaker's Chocolate for these following reasons.

Ingredients are a crucial factor in making or breaking chocolate.
Cadbury has now added palm oil into there chocolate. It may be good for humans but it is from an unsustainable source.
Whittaker's has 33% cocoa in its Creamy Milk Chocolate, Cadbury only has 21% cocoa in Dairy Milk Chocolate. That is only 1% over the legal limit of cocoa needed in chocolate.

Cadbury has secretly reduced their bar size. They designed the new bar so that to the blind eye it is very hard to notice. It's not until you look closely and see that the Cadbury bar now has 200g. Compared to Whittaker's 250g bar size.

Whittaker's is made in New Zealand by Andrew and Brian Whittaker which is providing more jobs for kiwis. Cadbury Chocolate is made in Australia by a global confectionary manufacturer and shipped over to New Zealand.

Taste is an important factor in determining which chocolate is preferred by chocolate consumers. Personal taste tests have been completed in room one. Whittaker's was the winner of this as it is more creamy and satisfying. Compared to Whittaker's Cadbury has a horrible bitter taste.

With all these points taken into consideration I know that you will agree with me when I say

‘Whittaker's is by far the better chocolate'.
