Chocolate Wars

Chocolate Wars

In class we had a debate about which chocolate is the best. Either Cadbury or Whittakers.
This is mine:
Cadbury or Whittaker's?
In the chocolate world a war has broke out. Whittaker's has taken on Cadbury. I prefer Whittaker's Chocolate for these following reasons.

Ingredients are a crucial factor in making or breaking chocolate.
Cadbury has now added palm oil into there chocolate. It may be good for humans but it is from an unsustainable source.
Whittaker's has 33% cocoa in its Creamy Milk Chocolate, Cadbury only has 21% cocoa in Dairy Milk Chocolate. That is only 1% over the legal limit of cocoa needed in chocolate.

Cadbury has secretly reduced their bar size. They designed the new bar so that to the blind eye it is very hard to notice. It's not until you look closely and see that the Cadbury bar now has 200g. Compared to Whittaker's 250g bar size.

Whittaker's is made in New Zealand by Andrew and Brian Whittaker which is providing more jobs for kiwis. Cadbury Chocolate is made in Australia by a global confectionary manufacturer and shipped over to New Zealand.

Taste is an important factor in determining which chocolate is preferred by chocolate consumers. Personal taste tests have been completed in room one. Whittaker's was the winner of this as it is more creamy and satisfying. Compared to Whittaker's Cadbury has a horrible bitter taste.

With all these points taken into consideration I know that you will agree with me when I say

‘Whittaker's is by far the better chocolate'.

My paragraph

In class we have been writing a paragraph about:

Should school go for an extra hour?

This is what I think.

The students and teachers would be too tired. The students would start getting aggressive towards each other and stressed because they had stayed up late to finish homework. Ending up with less attendance and falling asleep in class.

Camp Adair-Burma Trail

I looked up and saw so many beautiful stars glistening in the dark night sky. We were nearing the overgrown forest. "We're walking through that, in pitch black with only a rope to help us find our way back!" I asked shaking. I was so scared I couldn't believe what I was about to do!
We sat down on the damp grass and the teachers started to tell us a spooky story. They sent the parents off first. Everyone knew that they are going to jump out at us or try to scare us.
I stated to freak out. They began to send people off. "Jennifer and I are going to stick together so I'll be fine", I thought.
We approached the forest. "Ok this isn't so bad" I said. I screamed as one of the parents jumped out at me.
We walked along and the rope got more confusing with every step we take. Jennifer and I walked straight into the rope. Then we were stuck in a in a criss-crossing rope, it felt like we were a bug in a spiders web! Where do we go from here? We decided to be cunning and we went under the rope and down the hill until we were at the rope again. Everyone that was behind us did the same. We knew we were nearly at the end because of the way the hill was reaching the bottom.
All of a sudden Jennifer slipped and knocked my legs out from under me and we went sliding a bit. We cracked up laughing as we tried to brush the dirt off of ourselves. Then were at the end
"YES!" I did it I was so proud of myself!

Movie

♥♥In class we have been making our own movies in groups.
My group is: Me (Melissa), Monica, Annalise and Hannah.
Our movie is about a famous pop star Chloe (Annalise) who comes to Crazy Town and the photographers (Melissa & Monica) whose boss has told them to get photos of the pop star but realize the only way they are going to get the photos is if they are to work together as a team.
The moral of the story is: If you work together you a more likely to succeed.
Well you will have to watch the video once we've finished it to find out more.

Gymnastic's

Gymnastic's

Recently we went to the gymnastics club on Sunshine Avenue. We had three lessons. In those lessons we split up into groups. One of the groups was on the floor; another group was on the volt, one group on the beams and the other group on the bars. It was so much fun. Sadly we have finished our lessons and the other classes are going now.
I hope we can do it again sometime in the year!
